I just got the latest Android 15 beta on my Pixel 8 Pro. Many of you have known about the newest Android features for a long time. I can’t even remember how many years because they used to name them after sweets.

If you’ve been watching, you’ve noticed a trend. Each version used to have big new features and major visual changes. But now, things have settled down. Some smaller changes and improvements make using your phone better.

So, here are the top five features of Android 15.

hopefully, more people will see these couple of things. So I’m just gonna jump right in. These are the top five best features I’ve found in Android 15. So number five is called Private Space and it’s, yeah, it’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a private space on your Android phone for your top-secret files and photos and whatever else you have in there.

To do this, go to Settings, then Security and Privacy, and then Private Space. You need to verify that it’s you. You can choose a Google account and a new login if you want. Once set up, the Private Space is like a hidden drawer in your phone.

If you lend your phone to someone, you can switch to Guest Mode. It will look like a brand-new phone to them. Private Space is different; it’s like a secret section under a separate login where you’re already signed in. It’s a small part of your phone for keeping things private, like files and pictures.

It’s just little things that make the experience better. One of the features is adding widgets to your home screen, which isn’t something you do often but can be useful when needed.

So, there are four main things: Private Space setup, Guest Mode, keeping private files hidden, and adding useful widgets. These help make your phone experience smoother and more secure.

There are clocks and widgets around it, but it would be nice to see more Google apps and even third-party apps adopt it. For example, I want to see it in widgets before adding them, like from my real contacts or a real board instead of a random person.

There’s a new back animation when you go back through settings or other parts. It feels smoother and better. Another feature is Bluetooth audio sharing. You can connect multiple headphones to one Bluetooth audio source if they support Bluetooth LE, which most new headphones do.

When using your Android phone as a webcam, there’s a high-quality mode. There’s also Bluetooth auto-on, so turning off Bluetooth on your phone automatically turns back on the next day. This way, you don’t have to remember to do it.

Google seems to focus on these small things every year, adding features that help us use our phones better. Speaking of small things, one of my favorites is the new volume sliders. Now, when I adjust the volume, it looks different but still has the auto live caption button on Pixel phones. This feature is very underrated.
