Microsoft is set to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass later this month.
A 2023 Call of Duty title will mark the first of the older Call of Duty games to come to Xbox Game Pass. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, the game received generally positive reviews from the community, but critics found its single-player content too short and lackluster.
It’s understood the announcement could come as soon as today, which is believed to be the original plan for Xbox Game Pass price increases and changes. In some regions, the price of the subscription service increased by up to 25%.
Starting July 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, an increase of $3. PC Game Pass subscriptions will increase from $9.99 to $11.99 per month and will continue to give you access to Day One releases.
Insider Gaming could not confirm an exact release date at the time of publication, but several sources have suggested that it will be later this month. Last week, several new claims were made that older Activision games would begin arriving on the subscription service later this month, including the Crash Bandicoot N’ Sun trilogy.
