Mark Zuckerberg has announced a speed dial for WhatsApp

Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new feature for WhatsApp that works like a speed dial. The Meta CEO shared this update, designed to help users better organize their communication. According to WABetaInfo, the new feature is a favorite filter that lets users prioritize important chats, groups, and calls within the app.

The 40-year-old tech billionaire announced this on his official WhatsApp channel. He also revealed new AI-powered business features and Meta Verified for WhatsApp. Users can use this feature to find important chats and groups directly from the chats tab. The new filter will also be available in the calls tab, allowing users to access their favorite contacts with just one tap.

WABetaInfo reported that there are several ways users can mark chats and groups as favorites. They can access the favorites tab in the chat list to add chats and groups to their favorites. Users can also mark specific contacts and groups as favorites directly from the chat info or calls tab. They can manage their favorites in the app settings, where they can easily add, organize, or remove them. This feature is available for both Android and iPhone users.
