How to Add a Website to Your Mac Dock

Your Mac Dock gives you quick access to your favorite apps. But did you know it can also give you quick access to your favorite websites? Just like you can add websites to your home screen on iOS, you can add them to your Mac Dock. Once added, you can open and use the website as if it were an app.

Here’s how to create a shortcut for a website on your Mac using Safari:

  1. Open Safari on your Mac.
  2. Go to the website you want to add to your Dock.
  3. Click on “File” in the menu bar at the top.
  4. From the drop-down menu, select “Add to Dock.”
  5. Alternatively, click the “Share” button in Safari’s toolbar and choose “Add to Dock.”

Now, the website will appear in your Dock as a shortcut. You won’t need to reopen Safari each time you want to visit that site.
